A total of 1,555 modules of three different types along with 55 adapter circuit card assemblies are required. All material delivered will be 100% electrically tested at NSWCPD. Bid must include provision for the vendor to repair at their cost failures due to component failure or manufacturing defect. Advanced Circuit Technology (ACT) is uniquely qualified to produce these CCAs for the following reasons: ACT won the bid for previous contract N6449817P4044. As part of this contract, they developed the equipment setups necessary to make the modules and NSWCPD spent the time to do the first article testing necessary to certify the modules for use. At this time, ACT is the only vendor that we have worked with to obtain qualified modules. Picking a different vendor will not only bring on the set up cost but increase the engineering work needed to validate the first article boards.
