The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) has a requirement, to be awarded on a competitive basis, to procure services required where the contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, supplies and supervision for the permanent closure in place of ten (10) 15,000-gallon and one (1) 20,000-gallon steel aboveground storage tanks (AST) located in Tank Farm 951. The base Statement of Work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of all residual oil within the eleven tanks and associated piping; cleaning the tanks and all associated piping; capping all piping within the containment areas; and securing or capping all fill ports. Additional option CLINS are include for work to demolish and discard supply/return piping and equipment (strainers) and potential asbestos removal. This effort is being competed amongst all eligible small business concerns. The Government intends to make award to the lowest priced, responsible offer.
