Amendment 0001 - The incorrect vendor was previously listed in the sole source justification posted with this announcement. The Government has revised the justification with the correct vendor and extended the date for receipt of quotes to 16 Dec 19, 5:00 PM EST. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia (NSWCPD) intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Empire Abrasive Equipment Company, LP (CAGE: 19428) located in Langhorne, PA. This is to install an Empire Blast Booth, Model # PEB1514-10 with blast booth 650 Pneumatic System and accessories as well as Gas-Free Testing services. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all quotes received prior to 16 December 2019 at 5:00pm will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award.
