(16) Description: The Nava Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) Hull, Mechancial & Electrical (HM&E) Control System Cybersecurity Lab of Code 1531 has a requirement for DataDiode Small Form Factor Pluggables (SFPs). The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501. (See Attachment # 1 - Sole Source Justification). The anticipated solicitation will include firm-fixed-price contract line items for procurement. Interested persons may submit a capability statement by the specified response date. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes from any other source than the identified source above. However, the Government will consider information received by the specified response date. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice. The delivery requirement of these items is 60 days after date of award. This acquisition will be sole sourced to Patton Electronics Co. 7622 Rickenbacker Drive Gaitherburg, MD, 20879, US . Patton Electronics Co. is uniquely qualified to meet the requirement in the area of supplies of DataDiode SFPs that will be used to test shipboard representative hardware in the Cyber Security lab at NSWCPD.
