The current requirement is for production of the Advanced Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Removal Units (ACRUs) and associated special tools, ACRU engineering services, and ACRU spares. A Technical Data Package (TDP) will be provided in the solicitation. The proposed requirement is for the purchase of the ACRU engineering services, up to six (6) ACRUs and associated special tools, and up to six (6) sets of ACRU spares. This is a new effort as no ACRU production units have previously been built. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released in the Federal Business Opportunity Site (www.fedbizopps.gov) in October 2019, with the receipt of proposal due thirty (30) days thereafter. The Period of Performance (PoP) is from the date of award through five (5) years thereafter. NSWCPD plans to award a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) on the basis of technical factors only, with provisions for fixed price supplies and cost reimbursable engineering support services. This requirement will be solicited under full and open competition as approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration under FY18-SEP20-37 Rev. 1 of 1 dated 24 September 2018.
