N6449819R4067 SUBJECT: Navy Slewing Arm Davits Supply and Services SYNOPSIS DATE: 23 October 2019 CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: N64498 NAICS CODE: 333923 CLASSIFICATION CODE (PSC/FSC): 2030 INCUBMENT: Appleton Marine Inc.; Contract N65540-14-D-0021 TECHNICAL CODE: Code 433 ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: Q2 FY20 RESPONSE DATE: 7 November 2019 ANTICIPATED SET-ASIDE: Small Business Set-Aside CONTACT POINTS: Nicole Eckman; Nicole.eckman@navy.mil; 215-897-1949 DESCRIPTION: The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to issue a competitive solicitation for procurement of a new Slewing Arm Davit (SLAD) built in accordance with a Navy specified and standardized design. The intention of this solicitation is to provide an electro-mechanical SLAD built to the Navy specified design to maximize commonality of davit operation, supportability, maintenance procedures, and logistics with davits on other ship classes. In addition to providing the supply, engineering and technical services will be required for the support on the davits. Work will be required aboard U.S. Navy vessels, at Naval or private shipyards and military installations within the continental United States or overseas, or at the contractor's facilities.
