The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Prism Maritime LLC, 416 Kelland Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23320 to provide the supplies and services of Combat Systems Interface and Steering Control Systems currently installed on the following ship classes: Aircraft Carrier, Nuclear Powered (CVN); Landing Ship, Dock (LSD); Amphibious Transport Dock (LPD); and Multi-Purpose Amphibious Assault Ship (LHD). via Request for Proposal N64498-19-R-4017. This procurement action is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), Prism Maritime LLC is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the Navy's requirements for the specified effort. The proposed award and resulting contract is for data conversion hardware equipment and associated components and supporting product technical manuals that meet the US Navy's requirements for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
