SYNOPSIS FOR SOLICITATION NO. N64498-19-R-4041 SUBJECT: Technical, Process and Programmatic Support for the Integration of Logistics Products RFI DATE: 10 October 2018 under Solicitation Number N6449818R4039 (now changed to N6449819R4041) NAICS CODE: 541330 - Engineering Services with a Size Standard of $38,500,000.00. CLASSIFICATION CODE (PSC/FSC): R706 INCUBMENT: N00178-04-D-4078-EHQ7 with McKean Defense Group, LLC ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: Q4 FY19 RESPONSE DATE: 20 February 2019 ANTICIPATED SET-ASIDE: Unrestricted CONTACT POINTS: Aaron Koumaras DESCRIPTION: The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to issue a competitive solicitation to execute a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Contract to procure the Technical, Process and Programmatic Support for the Integration of Logistics Products. These logistics service support tasks necessary for continued operational readiness of the organization. The services being acquired are for engineering and procurement services for alteration and modernization of ship systems, In-service Engineering responsibility for future and in-service systems, and training development. The official Request for Proposal (RFP) along with any amendments will be published on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov. THE RFP WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY. Written proposals will be requested. Interested offerors should monitor FEDBIZOPPS for the release of the RFP. No CDs or hard copies will be provided. The RFP is anticipated for release in February of Fiscal Year (FY) 2019, with award anticipated in August of FY 2019. Award is anticipated of an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract; with Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) ordering provisions for delivery orders defined specifically for fixed prices. The period of performance will be five (5) years. This effort is being competed on an unrestricted basis. The Government intends to make up to four (4) awards under this solicitation.
