The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Starrag USA, Inc. located in Hebron, KY. This is to repair SU-17's Accessory Head #48, Serial #48024737 utilized in a Naval Foundry and Propeller Center high-speed precision milling machine. The scope of work comprises of contractor to ship, install, and recommission the accessory head on SU-17 (800500) once it returns to NFPC. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to August 28, 2019 at 5:00pm will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
