The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to PAMA, Inc. located in Elgin, IL. This is to provide annual based preventative maintenance in addition to an emergent corrective maintenance plan to keep the PAMA SPEEDRAM 1000HP (Serial # PG8223) running in optimal condition. The scope of work comprises of contractor to provide on-site visits for the PAMA machine consisting of either preventative or corrective maintenance, functional verification, geometric verification, and function/full geometric accuracy qualification, dependent upon the duration that the machine has been in service. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to August 30, 2019 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
