This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted only on FEDBIZOPPS. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Office intends to solicit to Cisco authorized distributors and resellers for NEW products. Refurbished or re-manufactured item are not acceptable. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the required justification is attached. This action will result in a firm fixed-price (FFP) purchase order. The awarded contract for the above requirement is for commercial supplies for which the Government will solicit with authorized distributors and resellers of the brand name Cisco for the required items in the Requirements Statement under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items is applicable to this procurement. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on a combination of factors - a combination of the lowest price, compliance of the terms and conditions of the solicitation and determination of responsibility. System for Award Management (SAM). Quoters must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice.
