THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) NOTICE is being issued by the Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). NSWCPD has a requirement to provide parts, equipment, and software in support of any Navy system employing Fairmount Automation products as directed by NSWCPD. The Contractor shall also provide evaluation and repair services in support of any Navy control system employing Fairmount Automation products as directed by NSWCPD, utilizing other than full and open competition, from Fairmount Automation Inc. IAW 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements” as only Fairmount Automation Inc. meets the Government's requirements. NSWCPD intends to issue a solicitation to the specified vendor to meet mission requirements. Prior to issuing a sole source solicitation, NSWCPD is requesting information in order to make an informed determination regarding procurement strategy.
