NSWCPD has a requirement for commercial depot level repairs of US Navy 501-K17 Gas Turbine Engine, National Stock Number (NSN) 2835-00-612-0730, 501-K Series Marine Gas Turbine Compressor, NSN 2835-01-286-4790, and the 501-K17 Marine Gas Turbine Power Turbine, NSN 2835-01-243-3722. It is the Government's intention to identify vendors to provide these repair services on a limited sources basis IAW FAR 6302-1. Potential awardees must be an established commercial repair facility with Rolls Royce Marine North America (RRMNA) and possess a valid Authorized Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Center (AMROC) agreement. This notice is for market research purposes only and does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal. This notice shall not be construed as a contract, a promise of contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government. The Government is NOT seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This notice is issued solely for conducting market research in accorcance with FAR Part 10 and gathering information for planning purposes. The Governemnt WILL NOT PAY for any information received, and the Government will not compensate the respondent for any cost incurred in developing the response to this notice. The Government will not release any information marked with a proprietary legend received in response to this notice to any firms, agencies or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordane with the legend. Accordingly, NSWCPD is requesting information from any and all interested sources in order to make an informed determination regarding procurement strategy. Potential awardees must be an established commercial repair facility with Rolls Royce Marine North America (RRMNA) and possess a valid Authorized Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Center (AMROC) agreement. SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES: Respondents shall provide capability statements with specific information regarding their ability to provide the required servidces to meet the NSWCPD's needs as detailed in the attached draft Performance Work Statement. Responding statements are not to exceed ten (10) pages in length. Responses shall be in elecronic format (Microsoft word or PDF preferred). A cover page for the response shall be included. The cover page shall include the comany name, address, CAGE Code, Business Size Status for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811310, and points of contacts (names, email, and telephone numbers) at a minimum. The cover page is not considered in the total page count. NSWCPD will only accept unclassified, electronic submissions. Responses shall be sent to Contract Specialist, Phil Sawicki at philip.g.sawicki.civ@us.navy.mil with the subject line "RFI N64498-24-RFPREQ-PD-42-0001 K17 Marine Gast Turbine Engines".
