The Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC) requires the application of specialized paints and coatings to all finished machined components prior to shipment. The procurement is for ten (10) Sherwin Williams and three (3) International Paint (brands) specific specialized marine-grade epoxy-polyamide paint extensively tested and approved by the Naval Research Laboratory over a five (5) year ordering period. A minimum of eighty (80) percent of the total shelf life shall remain from respective batch date of manufacture in accordance with (IAW) Certificate of Analysis upon delivery, otherwise shipments will be returned at no additional cost to the government. No replacements or substitutions are acceptable. This acquisition will be solicitated using Simplified Acquisition Procedures pursuant to FAR Part 13.5 Procedures, which shall result in the award of a single, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) supply contract. The IDIQ will be for a sixty (60) month ordering period.
