The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to procure the following services on a limited sources basis: Commercial Depot-level overhaul and repair of the US Navy LM2500 Single Shank Turbine (SST) Gas Generators, National Stock Number (NSN) 2835-01-237-1153, US Navy LM2500 Paired Blade Turbine (PBT) Gas Generators, NSN 2835-01-032-9125, US Navy LM2500 Power Turbine Assemblies (PTAs), NSN 2835-01-032-9124, US Navy LM2500+ Gas Generators, NSN 2835-01-537-8291 and US Navy LM2500+ PTAs, NSN 2835-01-535-2318. Potential awardees must be an established commercial overhaul depot with General Electric (GE) Level IV licensure. This solicitation is expected to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) on a Limited Sources basis. The period of performance for this effort will be for five (5) years from the date of award. This effort is being competed on an unrestricted basis. The RFP is anticipated to be released no later than August 2024, with an award anticipated in April 2025. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a limited number of sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), “Only One Responsible Source or, for DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, from only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and No Other Sources and Services will satisfy Agency Requirements”, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1.
