The purpose of this effort is to procure a new membrane nitrogen generator with support services and supplies for installation on CVNs. The Contractor shall supply a shipboard nitrogen producer that employs membrane technology to separate nitrogen from ambient air that is to be installed on CVN. The contractor shall demonstrate the operational capacity of the system at the contractor’s facility and ship the system to a location TBD. The contractor shall provide one competent engineer to perform the following prescribed functions as and when required by the government: on-the job instructions and assistance to Navy personnel (military or civilian) in the planning, installation assistance , installation testing, check out, adjustments, disassembly, and repairs of the system. It is anticipated that the requirement would be awarded as a Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity, Firm-Fixed-Price Contract with a Five (5) year ordering period.
