This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, N6426724R0222, is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This is a total small-business set-aside. The NAICS code is 334519 and the size standard is 600 employees. The scope of this effort is to procure a minimum of one (1) and a maximum of 27 each Optical Comparator Systems with training to stateside and overseas locations under an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract. The period of performance is for five (5) years. The Optical Comparator Systems will be shipped to Beaufort, SC 29904. Proposals will be evaluated on three (3) factors: technical, past performance, and evaluated price. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, with their proposal. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. It is requested that all interested parties who can provide the required items to respond with a Capability Statement. The Capability Statement shall also include the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, CAGE code, and UEI number. (2) Business size for NAICS Code 334515. (3) Estimated unit price and lead time for market research purposes. (4) Industry commentary on the current version of the SOW.
