The referenced number is N6426722Q1038 Naval Surface Warfare Center (NAVSEA), Corona Division, 1999 Fourth St. Norco, CA 92860, intents to award a sole source purchase order for 24 Each of Forward Hangers 98174546-1. NAVSEA, Corona Division, intents to make an award to Cliffdale Manufacturing LLC, 20409 Prairie St. Chatsworth, CA. Cliffdale Manufacturing is the sole source for 98174546-1 flight PAX certified parts. In accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 5.207(c) (16) (ii), the proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive quotation; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or a quotation that may be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission or objective. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
