This is a notice of intent toaward a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), setforth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source. The referenced number is N6426722Q1029. Naval Surface Warfare Center(NAVSEA), Corona Division, 1999 Fourth St. Norco, CA 92860, intents to award a sole source purchase order fo 20 Calibration Insert PLTC#10, 20 Calibration Insert PLTC#7 , and 10 Calibration Insert PHTC#6. NAVSEA, Corona Division, intents to make an award to Isotech North America Inc.,158 Brentwood DR # 4 Colchester, Vermont 05446, as they are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) that can customize the production of the Calibration Inserts as required and deliver them within the required date. The products has been tested to satisfy the Agency’s requirement. In accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 5.207(c) (16) (ii), the proposed contract actionis for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive quotation; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or a quotation that maybe considered by the agency. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission or objective. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
