Hexagon is the original and only known man... The Naval Warfare Center Corona Division (Corona Division) intends to sole source Leica Laser Trackers to Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc. (Hexagon). Hexagon is the original and only known manufacturer of Leica Laser Trackers that meet form, fit, and function for this application. This notice is intended to fulfill the requirements of DFARS PGI 206.302-1. Notwithstanding, Corona Division is seeking information from potential, responsible sources that have the interest and capability to provide Leica Laser Trackers in accordance with the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW). It is requested that all interested parties who can provide the required items to respond with a Capability Statement. The Capability Statement shall also include the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, CAGE code and DUNS number. (2) Business size for NAICS Code 334513. (3) Estimated unit price and lead time for market research purposes. (4) Industry commentary on the current version of the SOW. Responses of this notice shall be submitted via email to the Procurement Specialist, Julian Garibay via email at julian.p.garibay.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 10:00 AM PDT on 12 June 2022. The information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a small business, socioeconomic set-aside, competitive or non-competitive method is possible, and to determine the availability of qualified companies technically capable of meeting the Government's requirement. All organizations with the capability and availability to perform the requirement under the applicable NAICS code are invited to submit a response to this notice.
