The purpose of this amendment is to address questions listed below. All other terms and conditions remain the same. 1. Is there a loading dock at site? Yes we have a dock but we may request that some of the pallets of "Batteries" be unloaded at the job site and the rest at our supply building depending on the amount of pallets. 2. How far is the UPS from the loading dock or entry point? The distance from the dock and the job site is about a 1/4 mile. 3. Is the UPS on the first floor? Everything that we are dealing with is on ground level. 4. If not, is there an elevator we can use? How far is the UPS from the elevator? N/A 5. Can the batteries be stored at the loading dock 1-2 days before install? We would like to incorporate the delivery with a partial installation if possible. This will help limit the footprint of the storage space of the pallets. We will make arrange for storage of the remaining pallets so please send the count and makeup of the pallets (How many batteries on each pallet and how high are they going to be stacked on each pallet) as soon as possible. 6. Is there a pallet jack on site we can use? Yes 7. Any floor protection needed? No 8. Are there any obstructions from the loading dock to the UPS? If the decision on a partial drop off at the job site the driver may have to unload in the street or backup into a parking lot. 9. Is the job to be completed during normal or off hours? Currently it is during normal hours but we may entertain executing on a Saturday but that will be Tecnical Point of Contact's call. ________________________ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Looseleaf FAC 2005-101_10-26-18.pdf. The provisions at 52.212-1, 52.212-3 and the clauses at 52.212-4, 52.212-5 apply to this acquisition; no addenda are attached. This is an all-or-none requirement and partial quotes will be deemed unresponsive and will not be evaluated. The Government will award on a single purchase order to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the requirements as stated in the Solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government based on the criteria listed in section L and section M of the Solicitation. Offerors must be registered in SAM and all responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, will be considered by the Agency. Quotes are due no later than the response date in the posting. Responses/offers shall be submitted electronically, PDF or MS Word Format to the email address in the posting. Any amendment(s) issued to this Request for Quote (RFQ) will be published on this website. Therefore, it is the Offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. No telephone requests.
