This Sources Sought Notice is focused on identifying capabilities in the market place and resources to support this requirement, as well as obtaining related technical information for the procurement of the items listed below. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code assigned to this procurement is 334417 The envisioned item anticipated to be procured from a contractor as a result of a potential future solicitation is identified below. Method of issue: Full and Open Competition The NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION (NSWC PHD) is seeking a quantity of 75 DB-9 Connector Cable Assemblies . The contractor shall produce two (2) Control Panel to DB-9 Connector Cable Assembly as first articles. After Government acceptance of the design, the contractor shall transition to full rate production to produce additional Control Panel to DB-9 Connector Cable Assembly for use in the fleet. DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT or SERVICES First Article Test Part Number: 8751013 Description: ASTV Cable Quantity: 2 Part Numberis Commercial Part Number: 8751013 Description: ASTV Cable Quantity: 75 Part Number is Commercial Engineering change proposal (ECP) P-21-1946, which supports the new TI16 Mod1 baseline list the ASTV cable as part of the Computer Maintenance Tool (CMT) kit ; the cables are compatible in all aspects with existing components presently utilized for the continued sustainment of the CMT program. All newly procured materials must match what is in the configuration, per ECP P-21-1946, and cannot deviate from what has been listed as a required component in order to maintain continuity of hardware equipment capabilities during shipboard ORDALT Installations INSTRUCTIONS TO INDUSTRY: Requested Information: The Navy requests the following information from parties interested in responding to this Sources Sought Notice: Company Name, Address, CAGE Code, DUNS.
