The Product and Service Code is 1440 Method of issue: Full and Open Competition The technical data package (drawings) contains information that is export controlled. Only those companies that have completed DD Form 2345 and are certified under the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Joint Certification Program (JCP) in an active status are authorized to receive the package (http://www.dla.mil/HQ/InformationOperations/Offers/Products/LogisticsApplications/JCP.aspx). Vendor also must be currently registered in the System for Award Manage (SAM) and not currently excluded or debarred, and are not currently delinquent on any federal debt (https://www.sam.gov/). You will need to request Explicit Access through beta.SAM/Contract Opportunities. Submission of quotes shall be received not later than 06/16/2021. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. This Sources Sought Notice is focused on identifying capabilities in the market place and resources to support this requirement, as well as obtaining related technical information for the procurement of the items listed below. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The envisioned item anticipated to be procured from a contractor as a result of a potential future solicitation is identified below. 1) Uptake Hatch Cover, P/N 5219871-59, in accordance with provided drawings, Quantity 4. Description and function of Uptake Hatch Cover: The Uptake Hatch Cover is connected to the uptake, which is located at the center of a Module. The uptake hatch cover is opened to allow the exhaust gases to escape to the atmosphere. While closed, the uptake hatch cover prevents water from entering the Module through the uptake, which can cause damage to the equipment.
