The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost-Only type contract modification to Ultra Electronics Ocean Systems of Braintree, MA for the procurement of Next Generation Surface Search Radar qualification systems. The contemplated contract modification will be awarded pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 638(r)(4). As a SBIR Phase III contract, the authority to sole-source is expressly provided in the SBIR Reauthorization Act and SBA SBIR/STTR Policy Directive.
