The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Regional Directorate intends to solicit for a future award to be issued sole source to Mission BBQ Catering Maryland, LLC on an other than full and open competitive basis using FAR Part 13 procedures for the procurement of catering prepared food and services at Employee Recognition and Award Ceremony Activity Events at both NAVSUP WSS – Philadelphia, PA and at NAVSUP WSS – Mechanicsburg, PA locations. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Mission BBQ Catering Maryland, LLC on a sole source basis since they are the only known source at this time with the ability to provide prepared food and catering services that meets the Government’s minimum requirements at both locations. A firm fixed price (FFP) contract is anticipated. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on the responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice.
