This Sources Sought Announcement is intended to identify vendors capable of performing the tasks outlined in the attached specifications document. This procurement action is to upfit two NCIS Electronic Storage Detection (ESD) K9 SUVs with the appropriate safety and security features consistent with recommended ESD K9 best practices established in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The primary categories of safety and security enhancements to be installed in the vehicles include: Window tint — for concealment and improved cabin temperature control. Siren and light controllers — to enable convenient operation of the law enforcement lighting package. Front-end lighting — standard law enforcement lights for visibility and compliance. Rear lighting — law enforcement rear lighting for enhanced operational safety. Console and docking station — includes a lockable accessory compartment, chargers, and radio holder. K9 nsert — includes a safety cage, ventilation fans, window guards, and heat alarm system to protect the K9.
