INTRODUCTION: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION to conduct market research and determine the availability and technical capability of businesses to provide the required products and/or services. NCIS is seeking potential sources to provide installation and maintenance on an Electronic Security System at NCIS Resident Agency (NCISRA) Pensacola. CONTRACT/PROGRAM BACKGROUND: The Electronic Security System (ESS) consists of Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Access Control System (ACS). The IDS is connected to the base security via Navy Regional Dispatch in case of intrusion detection without authorization. The ACS is internally managed to authorize access to the physical spaces. The ESS is a critical system required for security and safety for both tangible and intangible assets of NCIS that are important integral part in carrying out the mission at each field offices. NCISRA Pensacola is located in building 3813. The Office is approximately 6,000 square feet and it consists of a lobby/waiting area, three interview rooms, private offices, open workstations, evidence processing area and storage, armory, conference room, admin area, break room and restrooms. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The new ESS shall interface to the Navy Region Dispatch for monitoring and dispatching purposes. The ESS will be compatible with the base standard equipment for interfacing purposes. The Contractor will provide a concept floor plan with the locations of the specific equipment and include an outline showing the security boundary.
