NCIS is seeking sources and industry feedback for MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES to support a Bulk Records Scanning Service requirement. NCIS has approximately 700 boxes weighing approximately 14,000 pounds (lbs.) containing files need to be digitally scanned into a PDF file format. The files will need to be scanned to external hard drive(s) as well as one full back-up external hard drive that can both be provided to NCIS. The documents transport and receiving/returning will require storage that will comply with chain of custody requirements. The potential vendor will be required to coordinate pick up and drop off of the files directly from the NCIS Headquarters in the Russell Knox Building in Quantico, VA. Interested vendors should respond with the following details: 1) Business name and address; 2) Name of company representative and their business title; 3) Type of Business; 4) Cage Code and D-U-N-S numbers; 5) The Government has identified North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561439 - Other Business Service Cener (including Copy Shops). Please confirm this as an appropriate selection and/or suggest other NAICS. 6) Identify the best means to procure the required service, i.e. contract vehicles that would be available to the Government for the procurement of the product and service, to include General Service Administration (GSA) e.g. Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), OASIS, Alliance, etc.; NIH (NITAAC), NASA SEWP, or any other Government Agency contract vehicle; and 7) Provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimate for this requirement.
