The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited - all responses will be treated as information only and it is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on Washer and Dryer purchasing and installation. The Government plans to procure these services as a Commercial Item as defined in FAR 2.101. The items shall have the minimum specifications: Washer/Extractor (QTY 2): - NFPA-1581 compliant - 60 lb load - Front loading - 100 G force extraction speed - 9 cycle programmable - 208-240/60/3/1ph Dryer (QTY 1): - NFPA-1581 compliant - 55 lb load - Dual digital timer control - Reversing cylinder - 240/60/3ph All items are to be shipped and installed at the customer’s premises at the following address: SWSC – Pearl Harbor 1430 South Ave JBPHH, HI 96860 In addition, must supply a PVC drain trough with a 3” diameter outlet and supply two 8” prefabricated metal bases for each washer/extractor and dryer. The details for all services to be performed are in the attached Statement of Work. Reponses to this Sources Sought request shall reference the Sources Sought number and shall include the following information in this format: 1) Courtesy quote that is non-binding detailing the costs for all the items and work to be performed – also known as a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) 2) Company name, address, Point of Contact name, phone number, fax number and email address. 3) Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. 4) Size of business - Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantage, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-owned and/or Veteran-owned. 5) Provide questions, comments, or feedback regarding the item, planned contract type, or any other associated information. Responses shall be emailed to the Point of Contact (POC) listed in this notice by the closing date and time of this notice. Any inquiries and capability statements received after the due date shall not be considered. Again, this is not a request for a proposal. Respondents will not be notified of the results and the Government is not required to answer any questions submitted in regards to this sources sought notice.
