This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole-source, Firm-Fixed Price contract to Altec, Inc. for research support services to improve and validate body tracking software for musculoskeletal injury analysis. The work involves enhancing a Kinematic Assessment and Training (Kin-A-Track) method using marker-less motion capture and will be performed remotely at the contractor's site. The period of performance is anticipated to be 12 months, from 01 April 2026 through 31 March 2027. This is considered a logical follow-on requirement, as Altec developed the initial technology and is deemed the only contractor with the necessary technical knowledge and capabilities. No proposals are being accepted in response to this notice.
