This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, will be considered by the Agency. Contract will be evaluated on Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The requirement is for a wireless, continuous wave NIRS system that will measure 2 penetration depths at each site, at least 7 sites, across the brain and body in humans. It must quantify oxy-, deoxy-, and total hemoglobin and tissue saturation index for each site and each penetration depth. It must have probes that are relatively low profile and can be worn under garments without the risk of them being caught on clothing.
