THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source purchase order in accordance with (IAW) FAR 13.501(a) – Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCN) intends to solicit and award a sole source purchase order for Surface Velocity Profile Drifter System (Ice Ball) Buoys by Pacific Gyre. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. The required delivery date is 90 days after contract awarded. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
