"Dog Shack" is a slang term used in the submarine community to describe the weather resistant assembly. The dog shack covers contain a flexible door which allows access to the dog shack and to the submarine hatch." This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N62789-23-Q-0001 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC-2022-03 with an effective date of 30 December 2021. This is a 100% small business set-aside. NAICS Code: 314910, size standard: 500. CLIN 0001: The Contractor shall manufacture six (6) Virginia Class dog shack hatch. Please provide price per unit and total price. CLIN 0002: Contractor shall Deliver/Ship to (FOB Destination). Delivery must be accomplished between Monday - Friday between 0700 and 1330 EST. Evaluation of all line items will not obligate the Government to award all line items. The Government intends to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. The lowest price offeror will be evaluated first for technical acceptability. If determined to be technically unacceptable, the next lowest offeror will be evaluated, etc. Proposals are due prior to 5:00PM ET, 12 November 2022. Late submissions will not be accepted.
