This is a synopsis for noncommercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC). Supervisor of Shipbuilding (SUPSHIP) Conversion and Repair, Groton CT intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for the inspection and cleaning of a ventilation system in accordance with the Scope of Work. The performance location will be at Submarine Base, New London, CT. This is intended as a total small-business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 238220. The Small Business Size Standard is $15,000,000.00. Offerors must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at: https://sam.gov/SAM/pages/public/index.jsf The anticipated release date of Request for Quote (RFQ) Number N6278919Q0009 is fifteen days from this posting and will be posted for less than 30 days in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the RFQ. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FBO.gov website. The Contracting Officer will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the website and for monitoring the site for any amendments.
