Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Groton, CT (SSGR) intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for the cleaning of Sanitary Tanks #1 and #3, and the Forward and After Bilge Collection Tanks (4 tanks total) on board a Los Angeles Class Submarine located at the Naval Submarine Base, New London. Solicitation Number: N62789-24-Q-0012 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular, FAC 2024-05, effective May 22, 2024. This is a solicitation is being competed as a 100% small business set aside. NAICS Code: 562910 Size Standard: $25,000,000. Pursuant to NAVSEAINST 4350.2D and NAVSEA Letter Ser 04X-275, ONLY NAVSEA APPROVED CONTRACTORS SHALL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS AWARD as the cleaning of the tanks occurs in spaces adjacent the engine room onboard the submarine, which requires full compliance with State, Federal and Navy regulations. The intended period of performance is 16 September 2024 to 29 October 2024. Estimated cleaning duration is five (5) days, preferably consecutive days.
