This is a synopsis notice, not a solicitation, and no contract will be awarded from it. The work involves replacing CHT discharge piping for CHT Pump No. 2 on the USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47). Performance is located at Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) in Japan, with a period of performance from October 12, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The future competitive solicitation will be restricted to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders located in Japan. To be eligible, offerors must be authorized to operate and do business in Japan and demonstrate this authorization at proposal submission.
