This is a synopsis notice for a preservation project on the USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47) involving the deck of uptake and fan space. The performance period is from October 12, 2026, to July 31, 2027, and work will take place at Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo in Japan. Only companies holding an active Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in Japan are eligible to compete. Contractors outside Japan must unambiguously demonstrate authorization to perform work in Japan under DFARS 252.225-7042 to be considered. No budget amount is specified in this notice.
