This is a synopsis notice, not a solicitation, and no contract will be awarded from it. The work involves removing a port accommodation ladder winch and components on the USS RUDHMORE (LSD-47). Performance will take place at Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) in Japan, with a period of performance from August 10, 2026, to October 31, 2026. Only contractors holding a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in Japan, or those willing to execute one before award, are eligible. Contractors outside Japan must demonstrate authorization to perform work in Japan per DFARS 252.225-7042 to be considered.
