Notice of intent to use a brand name product for Fiscal Year 2020 PAF180200 APR - Jet Fuel Storage Tanks, RAAF Base Tindal, Australia. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is performing a market survey to determine if other potential sources of supply can provide Automatic Tank Gauges (ATG’s) that have equal performance and listing/approval requirements as the Honeywell ENRAF Servo Gauge Model 954 ATG. ATG’s shall demonstrate the following characteristics: Satisfies UFGS Section 33 52 43.11, “ATG must be the mechanically or electronically actuated type that can continuously monitor a tank’s usable liquid level storage capacity. The system must provide a digital readout of a tank’s liquid level in terms of mm and liters. The system shall be accurate to plus or minus 2 mm. The system must measure water accumulation in mm from 19 to 125 mm off the bottom of a storage tank.” Successfully fits and functions with large fuel tanks that have storage capacities of 25,000 barrels, or approximately 4.0 million liters. This notification is for market research purposes only to identify if other potential sources of supply can meet the requirements of the Government. This is not a request for proposals, quotes, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify other potential sources for this product. To be considered, please submit detailed technical data in order for the Government to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your product to ensure compatibility with the existing system. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), a response to this notice is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The responder is solely responsible for the information it submits and any associated costs. The Government reserves the right to disregard any submittal that is incomplete or that is vague.
