This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation because there is no bid package or solicitation available. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The intent of this Sources Sought is to identify potential sources that are capable of readily supplying a 12,400 foot (3,780 meters) long, 7 feet (2,134 mm) high multi-species exclusion barrier capable of limiting movement of brown tree snakes, rats, cats, and ungulates such as feral pigs and deer. The barrier requires T-304 stainless steel woven chain link fence fabric consisting of 14GA (0.08”) T-304 stainless steel with a 0.27-inch x 0.35-inch clear opening, stainless steel 304B fence posts, a T-304 stainless steel hood embedded on top of the fence to prevent snake intrusion into the enclosure, and all necessary hardware, accessories, and fittings required for an installation of a fully functional multi-species exclusion barrier.
