NAVSUP FLC Yokosuka is conducting market research via a Sources Sought Notice, not an RFP or RFQ, to identify commercial sources authorized to operate and do business in Japan for consolidated household goods and unaccompanied baggage packing, crating, local drayage, and storage-in-transit services. Performance primarily supports local moves for military personnel at Camp Zama, Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka, and Yokota Air Base, with areas of performance in Tokyo and Kanagawa prefectures and other installations/areas in Japan. Interested firms should review the draft PWS and assess capacity for an approximate annual volume of 450 to 500 shipments. Capable respondents must hold a valid Japanese business license, all required Japanese government permits, and necessary equipment, materials, vehicles, and warehousing for military-specification packing and drayage. Firms may submit a capability statement of no more than 5 pages, including company profile and relevant past performance in Japan over the last three years; cost or price information is not solicited, and optional comments/questions on the draft PWS may be considered.
