The U.S. Navy intends to issue a competitive solicitation for a major ship repair overhaul for the USNS RAPPAHANNOCK, tentatively scheduled for the end of calendar year 2026. The work must be performed at a contractor shipyard within the Seventh Fleet Area of Responsibility. To be eligible, a firm must have an active SAM.gov registration and be authorized to do business in the country of performance. Firms without prior contract awards from this office must submit a detailed capability statement, including relevant past work and shipyard location, to the specified Contracting Officer. The Government will only accept electronic submissions.
