This is a preliminary notice for a potential future contract for the Regular Overhaul of the USNS PUERTO RICO, tentatively scheduled for the end of 2026. The ship repair work must be performed at a contractor shipyard within the Seventh Fleet Area of Responsibility. To be eligible, a firm must have an active SAM.gov registration and be authorized to do business in the country of performance. Interested ship repair firms must submit a capability statement of five pages or less via email to the specified Contract Specialist. The capability statement should detail the firm's relevant experience, including past contract values and work on U.S. Navy ships.
