This pre-solicitation covers an upcoming firm-fixed-price contract from SRF-JRMC and NAVSUP FLCY for repair and continuous maintenance of the USN surface ship USS MUSTIN (DDG-89). The work includes numerous Task Group Instructions such as cleaning, assessing, repairing, and preserving potable water tanks, waste/void/cofferdam spaces, sewage systems, non-skid, ventilation/uptake areas, and related ship systems. Performance will be onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, at Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan, with an anticipated period of performance from 1 FEB 2027 to 13 SEP 2027. The government anticipates issuing the RFP on or about 13 OCT 2026 through SAM.gov. Eligibility is limited to sources authorized to do business in Japan and requires a current active USN Master Ship Repair Agreement or Agreement for Boat Repair; non-holders may apply, but certification may take a year, and no socio-economic set-asides will be used.
