The work will be performed in Sasebo, Japan, and involves replacing seawater flushing piping on the LHA-7 at 02 level frames 49–74 and 02 deck frames 25–46. Only sources authorized to operate and do business in Japan under DFARS 225.1103/252.225-7042 are eligible; contractors outside Japan that cannot clearly demonstrate this compliance will not receive an award. Offerors must hold an active Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in the Japan region, or agree to execute one before award, to be eligible.
