This opportunity is limited to sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan under DFARS 252.225-7042, and the SAM physical address will be checked for eligibility. Contractors located outside Japan will not be eligible to receive an award and must submit documentation demonstrating DFARS 252.225-7042 compliance as part of their quotation. Acceptable documentation may include a preferred certificate of incorporation, business license or permit, certificate of authority, or articles of organization issued/filed with the Government of Japan; failure to provide it makes the quotation non-responsive. Questions must be emailed to the contracting POC by 10:00 JST on 14 SEPT 2026, and all questions and answers will be shared with all vendors. If the SAM physical address is outside Japan, one of the specified certificates must be submitted with questions or questions might not be answered, and submissions may be in English or a combination of Japanese and English.
