The ship repair work will be performed at Commander Fleet Activities Sasebo in Japan. The solicitation is open only to firms authorized to do business in Japan that hold a current Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) for the region and have an active SAM.gov registration. The work involves surveys of various accessible voids and support voids on the USS New Orleans (LPD-18). Access to the work specification package is via DoD SAFE, and interested eligible offerors must request access by email. The period of performance is from October 22, 2026, to January 30, 2027.
