The opportunity involves repairing the RCSR door closure system for the rescue boat pocket on the USS New Orleans (LPD-18). Performance will occur in the Japan region, and only offerors authorized to do business in Japan are eligible. Offerors must hold an active U.S. Navy MSRA/ABR Agreement in the Japan Region, or submit their approved agreement as part of the proposal. Contractors located outside Japan must provide documentation demonstrating compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042. Firms without an MSRA/ABR are ineligible unless the Navy can assess and execute the agreement without impacting the vessel's availability dates.
