This is a synopsis notice only, not a solicitation or request for proposal. The repair of the USS New Orleans (LPD-18) port forward and aft sideport shell doors will be performed at Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) in Japan, with a period of performance from October 22, 2026 to January 30, 2027. A competitive solicitation will be issued solely to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and capable Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders in Japan. Companies must meet these criteria and provide documentation demonstrating authorization to perform work in Japan.
