Most of the FR shirts, including the ones made from Nomex IIIA, are long-sleeve for arm protection. They can be made short-sleeved, but I want to make sure that this is the sleeve length required. Government Response: Refer to the SF1449 Section C, under the header titled Description/Specifications/Statement of Work. Please refer to Section 3.2 Uniform Shirt Requirements. Question #2: To confirm, you are requesting samples off the Uniform Master list attachment and needing them to be at your facility by Friday? Government Response: The number of samples and sizes are based on the uniform master list on the tab "Sample Master List." Refer to the SF1449 Section C, under the header titled Description/Specifications/Statement of Work. Please refer to Section 5 Delivery Requirements - samples are requested 30 days after award. Question #3: We were awarded the contract last year and sent samples. We can quote but manufacturer not willing to send samples again. Please advise if I can waive the sample request. NAVSUP FLCY Site Marianas anticipates issuing a solicitation for the procurement of Firefighter Uniform Shirts and Pants. Requirement: The Contractor shall provide Firefighter Station Wear Uniform Shirts and Pants that conform to the requirements specified in the draft statement of work, including but not limited to design and style, material, construction, sizing, labeling and marking.
